Although Government guidance has changed and our Country is beginning to ease restrictions, the guideline for Optical practices as medical settings remains unchanged.
Therefore, when visiting the practice, we request that you continue to wear a face mask unless exempt for a medical reason. If you arrive without, we’re more than happy to provide one free of charge. When arriving the door will be locked (please ring the doorbell to gain entry). A member of staff will greet you and take your temperature using a contactless thermometer. Once inside we will encourage you to use hand sanitiser and you will be shown to the relevant waiting area.
Staff members will continue to wear personal protective equipment as required for their protection as well as yours.
Testing rooms, clinical areas and dispensing stations are thoroughly disinfected after each and every patient.
You are more than welcome to try on as many glasses as you’d like without a face mask in designated areas. Each pair will be kept aside and UV sanitised before the next patient.
