December 2018 was a busy month here at Sheinman. No sooner was our Black Friday promotion done than we were gearing up for Christmas; having such expansive premises means we can really ‘go for it’ where the decorations are concerned! As a practice we also joined in with Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on 14th December, raising £109.00.
We also continued with our ticket giveaways to both Northampton Town Football Club and Northampton Saints matches, including a special Match day Mascot Competition, with the winner being drawn in store by Clarence the Dragon himself!
Our new and innovative stock of frames continued to prove popular with clients, these teamed with advice on the vast choice of lens options from our expert team of dispensing opticians ensure each pair of spectacles we produce in our on site laboratory gives the best possible vision and comfort to all. Read about our newest frame ranges here.
We also welcomed a group of students from Biddenham International School and Sports College who are studying for their Health and Social Care qualification. Max Cooke, one of our senior optometrists took them through what happens during a sight test and gave them some detail about the anatomy and physiology of the eye to aid them in their upcoming exams. They also received a tour of the dispensing area to learn about how we help clients find the best frame and lens combination for them, and a tour of our on site laboratory to see how we glaze and finish each pair of spectacles by hand.
We ended the year with our ever popular staff Christmas ‘Do’, which featured games of ‘Guess the staff member’ and ‘Stand up Bingo’!
Thank you to all our clients who have supported us throughout the year, we can’t wait to bring you some amazing new innovations in 2019… watch this space!
