Last month we were thrilled to co-sponsor a wonderful event in aid of Northampton Rape Crisis called ‘A Night out with Fashion’ at the Picturedrome venue.
Organised by Gretchen Larkin and her team from Bohemian Finds, Lynda Watts from our dispensing team was asked to provide the eyewear to pull together various looks throughout the show.
Clothing was supplied by Bohemian Finds, Voni Blu and Ann Summers with footwear from another long-standing Northampton instituiton, Trickers so Lynda had to draw on her vast knowledge of eyewear trends to find exactly the right styles from our huge stock. No small task, but one which played to the strengths she has built in her 30 years at Sheinman. She worked in close partnership with Gretchen in the lead up to the event and on the day itself, fitting the frames to each model at the rehearsal and then ensuring each one made it on to the correct face in the correct order during the show itself!
The atmosphere on the night was fun and upbeat, and the models did an amazing job of showcasing the myriad styles of clothing.
