All children under 16 are entitled to a free annual NHS eyetest and with our team of 5 Optometrists, we are very experienced in testing young eyes. We also have a dedicated Young Vision area in the practice, showcasing some of the amazing frames we have chosen especially to fit young faces. Ranges from Brands like Ray-Ban, Lacoste, Little Paul and Joe, Oakley, Basebox, Rockstar, and specialist paediatric eyewear brand Tomato Glasses mean that our dispensing opticians are able to find exactly the right frame for every face and prescription. Our unique service doesn’t end there, though. We upgrade every pair of lenses for our under 16s to Hoya Lenswear’s PNX material at no extra charge. These lenses are UV blocking, thinner and lighter than standard plastic and are so strong that they come with an anti-breakage guarantee, so however active your young ones are, their lenses will be up to the challenge! To ensure they stand out from the crowd, we can also offer a free range of engravings on the lenses. From their initials to something that represents their favourite hobby, we can deliver a pair of spectacles like no other! (This service is available to adults, too!).

Trends for 2019 are heading towards lighter, finer frames with a strong emphasis on the customer having a something which is unique to them.
